I like the idea to frame it in than drywall and texture it. If you do, just keep the drywall a few inches off the ground so water won't damage the finish. You can use plastic/synthetic paintable trim to finish out the bottom.
On the stripper note, I also like this idea. Paint it gold or the...
Buy a welded trailer. My neighbor bought and assembled a similar trailer and the bolts kept coming loose. He tried loctite and double nutting where he could but it still flexed a bit. He ended up welding bracing here and there.
See if you can find a used trailer. I found a 7x12 utility trailer...
I think you maybe looking for a powered air purifying respirator or PAPR. They are pricy. Check with outfits that sell safety equipment and do a search for PAPR. I know Scott and MSA sell units but again they are expensive. But I guess if you are using bad stuff, protecting you health is worth it.
frankenfab, thanks for the info. I think either lift should suit my needs. I want the lift to work on vintage VW's which don't have much of anything to access between the front and rear wheels. BTW, where do you place the jack stand when you are at partial height?
Not bad but not great. I have that saw and the Bosch version of the Skil Mag 77. No comparison. I still use that saw when it is easier to have a saw in 2 different locations at the same time. It's a decent saw it just depends on what you are going to use it for.
When I bought my Dewalt, I got...
To those with mid-rise lifts, what kind do you have and what height do they go to. I was looking at the $nap-on lifts and I understand they have 2 different heights depending on how old/new it is. I am also considering other manufacturers... any recommendations?
Left blade is the only way to go for a right handed person. I'm a big fan of the Skill Mag 77. This saw and it's predecessor the Skill 77 are the work horse of the trade. The only difference is the price and the Mag has a little bit of magnesium for lightness. However, I recently purchased a...
I like Senco. I got a Senco kit from Home Depot for an awesome price. If I remember correctly I paid just under $200.00 for a 15g angled finish nailer, an 18g brad nailer and an 18g stapler. All this with a case. I finished a basement and did some remodel work and they worked great.
Jonny from Denver CO. I stumbled on this site last nite. It's awesome. I'm fixin to add another 400 squares on to my garage this summer and this site is just what the doctor ordered.
