    Positioning lifts in garage

That makes sense for the 4 post. But for the 2 post you are gonna want plenty of clearance on the sides, right? The 2 bay seems a bit small for that. I would think about the left single bay. Will the permanent posts interfere with anything there? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Positioning lifts in garage

Is the concrete good in all bays, or would you need to pour footings? I would say the 2 car expansion, as it seems that you already have the height. Could you stack the 4 post in a row and drive through the first to park on the second? Some sort of bridge would be needed, but should be simple...

Decent Deal on a Dewalt Box?

Apparently there is stops on the bottom drawers to keep from tipping. I have also read that those can be defeated to allow full opening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Decent Deal on a Dewalt Box?

Thanks. I am DIY that has outgrown my present box, not a pro. I think I will try to use the HF coupon and if it works go with it, if not, then just wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Decent Deal on a Dewalt Box?

I think I could make use of them with some jig saws, sanders and heat guns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Decent Deal on a Dewalt Box?

I was thinking about getting a 42" HF box to replace my old Sears 26" that was my entry level box. My wife sent me this text tonight. Is seems ok, assuming it is in ok condition. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

higher rails for 2 car garage door

One alternative would be utilizing 32" radius tracks instead of the standard 15" (or 12"). That would gain you roughly 17", and you still should be able to use your existing opener (with some modifications). You will still likely require a new spring though. This is a bit cheap than a full...

    Liftmaster 8500 questions

I did check the manual first, but didn't see a dimension of total thickness, plus door clearance. Looking at the access door, I will just cut the shelf back to the first stud and have plenty of room. Thanks for the photo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Liftmaster 8500 questions

How much clearance do I need in front of the opener? I have a shelf in that area currently and I want to cut it back, I just need to know how far (minimum). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My 2015 14'x28' Single Car Garage/Shop Build.

I have a Racor hoist to remove/store my Jeep top. Are you going to try and link 2 of them together so that you can rasie both from only 1 drive?

    Bicycles and light cars

I am trying to find better organization for my bikes and cars. I don't have a good spot for them currently. Hanging them from a 12' ceiling isn't very accessible either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Building storage shelves

Mine had 2x4 shelves when I bought the place. My struggle now is to be more efficient in the use, as it seems I still have **** all over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Seasonal Tire Storage

A ladder. At some point maybe it will become too much work, so I will switch to all-seasons. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ceiling Storage recommendations?

If you add shelves there, then won't you have to move them when you do your high lift conversion for the lift installation? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
