I'm considering the HF 5-drawer, but the website has it listed under 3 different part numbers. Anyone know if there is any difference between them? All same description, same price, except that one is not billed as "Pro"...

I have a similar box combo from Craftsman, HD line. They've been working great so far. Not heavy use though. I got them on sale and because they fit perfectly into a recess that's in my garage, but they haven't given me any problems.

Have you ever looked at stage lighting or photography kits? We have some photo lights that seem like they would work well in theory. They hold position, pack up tight in cases, and put out a lot of light, and some kits are highly adjustable. Probably wouldn't hold up to a lot of banging around...

I imagine it's so they can advertise as fitting more bolts. All the ones I see advertise "Fits 6 types of bolts!!!" and that sort of thing very prominently, and "all-in-one" seems to be a popular theme.

With 3rd party sellers on Amazon, I frequently get the item in the mail before I get an email. If you're worried just find their customer support email (the tool seller, not amazon) and send an email.

I would buy it, assess it, and if I decided I didn't have the time/desire to fix it up, I'd sell/give it to a friend. But I enjoy fixing up things like that, and friends who do the same.
