Re: Have any of you went solar?
Solar City sounds like the company my son went with.
He lives in SoCal and LOVES what he was able to do. Zero upfront costs, and he essentially buys his power from them at guaranteed pricing for 20 years. They do all the maintenance and etc and, after 20...
MAY NOT BE the exactly the same as what you've been offered - but my son recently had opportunity to have a similar system (panels, inverter and other electronics) installed on his home in SoCal (Fontana).
Basically the company installed a very large system on his home - with no out of pocket...
Can't help you much in the Cleveland area - but generally speaking Dent Wizard is "OK".
My son, who does PDR in the LA area, "apprenticed" with them for a few years when he was 1st starting out. He left them a few years later and chased hail storms for a few year, made a bunch of money and now...
In fairness - while it's a lovely house and truly a show-place garage/shop - for my tastes, it's waaaay too big. Don't think I could ever get really comfortable living in a place that big. Don't think it'd ever feel "like home".
I'm perfectly happy in my fully paid for 2500 sq ft house -...

Quicker, easier (for them) - but I suspect the fiberglass insulation and paint stick would also work long as you don't pack it "solid". Air spaces in the fiberglass (and in the foam) is what really gives...
You ought to check out the Mighty Mule series of swing gate openers ....
http://www.mightymule.com/
I had one at a previous house and it worked like a champ for many years. Just moved and I installed one of the FM500 openers and love it. Will handle a gate up to 850# and 18 feet long...
Subscribed - so's I don't lose track of this tread and the great ideas contained herein.
Just about ready to tackle workbenches as part of the shop remodel .....

Unfortunately the $2500 doesn't include the rolling jacks - just the lift. But knowing the currently available jacks will work with the BP-12 is a major plus in considering the purchase.
And yes - it's doubtful I'd ever overload the lift since my largest current vehicle is my '03 Dodge 2500...
