Guys who did my garage interior "finish" ... e.g. drywall guys ... used the spray foam. Quicker, easier (for them) - but I suspect the fiberglass insulation and paint stick would also work long as you don't pack it "solid". Air spaces in the fiberglass (and in the foam) is what really gives...

You ought to check out the Mighty Mule series of swing gate openers .... http://www.mightymule.com/ I had one at a previous house and it worked like a champ for many years. Just moved and I installed one of the FM500 openers and love it. Will handle a gate up to 850# and 18 feet long...

Unfortunately the $2500 doesn't include the rolling jacks - just the lift. But knowing the currently available jacks will work with the BP-12 is a major plus in considering the purchase. And yes - it's doubtful I'd ever overload the lift since my largest current vehicle is my '03 Dodge 2500...
