    OBD reader/scanners??

I'm looking for my first OBD reader/scanner and have read what I could find but still unsure where I should go unit wise. I know Innova has great service and support and lean that way, but would appreciate some knowledgable input. My current vehicles include... 1991 Corvette, 2004 GMC Denali...

    Bendpak caster kit...

Hey Bob, If your garage is too full I'll help you out by dumping that old mopar on me. My first car was a 71 'cuda 383 magnum 4 speed that I bought out of a scrap yard in 1976 when I was 15. It wasn't really in too bad of condition, the frame was supposedly bent but it turned out to be...

    Bendpak caster kit...

Ok, here are the results... Bendpak is an amazing company and their response and "attempted" solution to my problem was immediate. They made a new set of casters for me within 2 days and shipped them air freight (very expensive) N/C to me so I would have them for this past weekend. I can't say...

Which looks better? Quick response needed

No question, 1st looks best*. *However, depending on other elements of your siding does the vertical lines compliment the overall look? Sometimes too many lines especially in different directions can lead to a "busy" look that may not be appropriate. Good job though!!

    Bendpak caster kit...

Hey Johnny, I purchased my lift and extras through Babco Sales and was happy with the service they provided... although it took about 2 months for me to finally get all the pieces I ordered (HD9XW, drip pans, caster kit, ramp stops, RJ-45, jack tray) at the end of it all I was happy. My only...

    Bendpak caster kit...

Weeeell, I spoke with Bendpak customer service and told them I am having trouble moving the lift with my 3300 lb. car on it and he agreed, it would be very hard to move the lift with a car on it! I told him I was under the impression that this is how the lift and caster kit was meant to be used...

    Bendpak caster kit...

I'm looking for some imput as to others experience using caster kits. I have a Bendpak HD-9XW purchased this summer along with the caster kit from Bendpak. My plan was to load my corvette on it and move the lift into a corner with the car on for winter storage. Because of where I want to put...

    8" variable speed bench grinder

Looking for some help finding a quality 8" variable speed bench grinder. It is just for home use, but I like quality and don't mind spending a reasonable amount of money on this item. ($500+?) Anyways, I like the idea of variable speed for sharpening things like my lawnmower blades yet can...

    Bendpak HD-9XW shimming...

Thanks for the floor compliment! It's an industrial epoxy floor coating that started with diamond grinding the entire floor (2500+ sq. ft.) and then 3 coats of epoxy. (aluminum oxide was used to give non slip in potentially wet areas, but not in the lift area) I'm getting the feeling that I am...

    Bendpak HD-9XW shimming...

Thanks for the floor comment, it's an industrial epoxy coating. They diamond ground the entire floor to start and then applied 3 coats of epoxy. In the connecting garage that is used for day to day vehicles I added aluminum oxide for non slip while wet (but it's a pain to sweep). I'm not too...

    Bendpak HD-9XW shimming...

I'm not sure if I'm committing a mortal sin here or not? Since I have a floor drain very close to the one leg of my lift I shimmed it with plywood along with a lesser amount on the other front leg to compensate for the drainage slope of my floor. I also need to move the lift for winter/summer...

Proper media for blasting aluminum and steel to be powdercoated

Easy answer is... Glass beads when you want to polish or clean. (definitely what you want to use on aluminum) Use max. 60psi to avoid over fracturing of bead so it has some life to it. Most people crank the pressure and then wonder why they only get a couple of cycles and their dust...
