Nice looking shop. Real helpful to have two doors to let you drive straight thru. Mine looks like that a lot of times after I get done working, I think I'll clean it up tomorrow. I really envy those whose garage looks neat as a pin even while they are working. Especially like the overhang.

I did mine ( 60 gal. upright ) like Kevin54 said. I got a big piece of semi tire off the road and cut 4 pads for the feet. I drilled thru them and put anchors in the floor and bolted down. But as Kevin says maybe it doesn't even need to be bolted to the floor.

Great looking build. I guess sometimes it's easier to just start over. Something to be proud of. Noticed the bikes and trophies also. A lot of work and fun there.
On our local news a story about a garage & home fire. It started in the garage. Thankfully the people got out ok but they lost everything. Everybody has heard it over & over, be careful with anything flamable. It's so easy to forget or overlook something when you're quiting for the day. Even...
For those of you that do not have a full time heated garage, how do you store items that will freeze? Things like spray paint, car washing soap, etc. I was reading a farm journal a while back and a guy wrote in saying he used an old refrigerator. He put a small (40 watt, I think) bulb in it and...
Hello from Missouri Ozarks. Man, I wish I lived next door to you. That Dodge has to be one beautiful car. Doing the work yourself just makes it all the better. It's been quite a while since I was slammed back against the seat trying to get a 20 dollar bill off the dash. Can you post some...
When I used to do car stuff in Michigan, I just used kerosene in mine. It cleaned very good and would last a long time. Where abouts in Michigan are you located?

Thanks for the welcome. Actually my sad story is just dumbness on my part. My girlfriend and I had a big (to me anyway) all steel 32' X 42" garage back in Michigan. The guy we bought the place from really had this built well. 12' sidewalls, fully insulated, electrical plugs every five feet, HO...
Just found this website while on another one and wanted to say hi to you all.
Moved from Michigan 4 years ago to the Missouri Ozarks. I have a very sad garage story to tell later. Don't have time now but just wanted to say hi. I love garages and the people that have them
