    Craftsman Impact Wrench

Hi all, About 7 years ago I bought a Craftsman 1/2" air impact wrench. I got it home and quickly realized that my air compressor didn't have enough capacity to run it, so into the cabinet it went. And so it sat until last week. I finally have a big enough air compressor to run it, I was doing...

    Shed build 10'x16'

One more thing: I decided to go ahead and pick up a Bostitch 15 ga finish nailer today. What a great tool!

    Shed build 10'x16'

It's been a couple weeks since my last update.... My main issue with getting it done has been weather and work. I work 4 days on and 4 days off, so I only get 2-3 days a week to work on it. Combine that with the fall weather at my house (fog every morning until noon) and I've only had a few...

    Shed build 10'x16'

Thanks. I've been pecking away at it the last couple weeks as time and weather permit, I'll post some more pictures tomorrow.

How would you lay out gutters on this roofline?

There would be a significant ice collection on a lower roof wouldn't there? Sort of an ice damn thing?

How would you lay out gutters on this roofline?

Maybe put some drainage pipe underneath the slab to connect the downspouts to and either run or pump the water away from the house or dig a dry well away from the concrete?

How would you lay out gutters on this roofline?

Hire a "continuous gutter" company ;)

On a ridge, on a mountain, attached to a house.

I'm going to ask an ignorant question here, where's the floor? I'm not familiar with building the walls first and floor last, how does it work?

    Shed build 10'x16'

I made it back out this afternoon, the rafters are fully blocked and the doors are built. I also spent quite a bit of time cleaning up the worksite, I chopped all the offcuts >14" up into kindling and moved the trailer away. Swept up the shed (a lot of sawdust and nails) and moved everything...

How do you store your tools?

Wow, this board is a wealth of information for sure! Thanks everyone! At the moment I have all my mechanic's tools in a stationary tool box and all the other hand tools waiting to be organized. I have all my door installation tools (jigs for door hinges and locksets) in one bag and it's seemed...

How do you store your tools?

I'm going to be organizing and rearranging my garage this winter and I'm curious how other do things. Basically, I'm wondering if you prefer to: 1. Store all your tools in a somewhat stationary fashion in the shop (hanging on the wall or in a large immobile tool cabinet) -or- 2. Store all...

    Shed build 10'x16'

Significant progress today! My friend came over and helped me get the roof on. Nothing special, regular 3-tab shingles over 15 lb felt, but it looks good and should be watertight! He also brought a coil roofing nailer, which was extremely handy to have. I was also able to spend some time...

    8x10 Shed Build

Looks great! Strong work choosing plywood over OSB, you'll be much happier with only a modest cost increase that way.

That's a great idea! Did you put up some sound insulation board in the compressor room?
