Finally got the issue taken care of. Had insullation blown in the garage ceiling the floors are alot warmer now. Now to get the outside wall insulated and drywall hung.

Its part of the quill lock part number 38631 and 38632 they are lock barrels.

I have done some more looking and Sears no longer has the part. Did a check online for the part number and nobody has one. I guess I will have to make something myself.

I recently bought a craftsman drill press model nuber 11321310. I am having a hard time finding any info about it. I need bart of the quill lock and also wondered how old it is. The manufacture number is 1272 does that mean dec of 1972?

The city says you can go to 200 sq ft after that you need a footer and so on. If the weather is nice tomarrow I will go for a walk and look to see what others have built. Next week I will call the HOA about height limits.

was2 Not sure of any height limits Im sure they wont let me build a two story. Planning on going with eight foot walls. The shed will house the normal stuff plus my two daughters outdoor toys and the extra parts for my Monte Carlo including a a frame on its side and an extra big block.

I plan on building one this summer but my HOA limits me to 180 Sq ft so my max I can go is 10x18. Should I go with another size or do you really waste that much lumber with an odd size. The wiring is going in the wall I plan on opening up a section around the wall and then repairing the drywall. It does look like a dryer vent but it is actually a vent for the 1/2 bath behind that wall it goes in the basement and to an outside vent. I will be replacing it with regular dryer vent...

I do understand what you are saying and I belive you are correct the wall on the front side is insulated above it was not though I will try to get some pictures odf inside the soffit. Thanks everybody for the comments.

It was only the hot water and it froze over night. I did not see and duct work but I plan on opening it up some more. Also so everybody knows I did not do the wiring that you see in the second picture the previous owner did that yet another thing I will need to address.
