Sealer / coating for new concrete floor

Really looking do avoid grinding, custom flake on a light gray would be ideal but not required. A low gloss non slip finish. About 650 SF but the budget is tight but I’d like to be around $1k or less.

Sealer / coating for new concrete floor

Hey all I am building a new garage in a couple months and want to coat the floor. I am not sure what products are best used with new concrete. The floor will not see harsh abuse. The main reason for coating it will be for ease of cleaning, occasional spills, saw dust etc.

    New garage build starting soon!

Nice space Craig. I've got a couple companies doing photometric lighting layouts for me. I am targeting 50fc. Do you happen to know what your fc is?

I am a contractor and do all of my drawings. I design in 3D then create the construction documents.

LOL 'Daylight' gotta love that. I was thinking the same thing about the dimmable fixtures. It makes sense when you just want some general illumination and not daylight.

    New garage build starting soon!

Ok so I am not off to a good start keeping this thread updated. I have now gon through several design revisions and settled on building the garage with a mezzanine instead of the full attic second floor. I am also researching lighting. The mounting height for the fixtures will be between 13 and...

    New garage build starting soon!

Well I am getting prepared to start a new build. Needing some additional space to store equipment and my construction trailer. The specs will be a 22'x30' with 10' ceilings, a second floor office, 2x6 walls, insulated 10x9 door, 2 zone mini-split for heating and cooling. Ill post some of my...

    Conventional split or mini split??

Hey guys been a good while since I’ve posted. Asking for feedback specifically from anyone in northern Ohio. I am designing a new garage with a second floor office. Wanting to add heat and a/c. A mini split would certainly have the advantage of not running a gas line but how well do they really...

    garage door CHI vs Cloplay

Had a new Clopay 16x7 insulated door installed in January. Really happy with the quality. I think dependability will more so be related to the hardware and the quality of the work of the installer. I converted to a hi lift set up that included larger drums and commercial springs etc. Sent...

    Dricore and Doors

Yep totally makes sense in a multi use building. I do woodworking in my garage. I installed pvc tiles. Gives me pretty decent comfort under foot. I store my boat and wife’s car in there so no wood floor for me here. Someday though! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Dricore and Doors

Way late to the party on this post but I would have to ask why, if you are building a new building as a dedicated wood working shop, would you even do a concrete floor. I have yet to build my dream wood shop but when I do it will be a conventional crawl space foundation with a wood framed...
