    Been Waitin' 25 years

Well my son and I put up the end wall on Friday and Saturday. Slow progress with work gettin' in the way. Only took 3 pics, they are the last three in the album. It was late last night when we finished and I remembered to get the camera. https://picasaweb.google.com/fritz199090/MainSection11215...

6" Fiberglass Insulation Under 26 Gauge Metal

This is how it was explained to me. I ordered the insulation on Friday. I was just wondering if the 6" was too much to compress on the purlins for 26 gauge. I talked to a sheet metal guy on Friday also and said it would be fine but need to watch out and not tighten screws too much like what...

Thanks James! I was wondering if 6" is too much for the 26 gauge panels to screw down on top of the purlins. Regards, Jeff

    Been Waitin' 25 years

Yes I am planning on a lift, 2 or 4 is yet to be determined. I have 13' to the bottom of the top 2 purlins, should be enough room for my junk to clear. Finished putting in the screws for the knee braces today. The center section is now done. Going to start on the solid end wall tomorrow and...

Yes that is where I purchased it. Was a smooth transaction. I have had the building since January. Had a very wet Spring so I couldn't get ground ready for the concrete until late April. Regards, Jeff

    Which Way For Z Purlins

Hello everyone! I have been lurking and searching for some time and now I need a question answered. I am putting up a 30 x 48 Strat O Span building. I would like to know which way is correct for the wall purlins or does it matter? Here is a link to the picture of them...

Translucent panels in the walls or roof of a shop?

Re: Transluecnt panels in the walls or roof of a shop? I don't like them if you are working underneath a vehicle. If you have to look up from underneath it seems you are always looking right into the skylight and can't see chit! Just my 2¢. Regards, Jeff
