This is how it was explained to me. I ordered the insulation on Friday. I was just wondering if the 6" was too much to compress on the purlins for 26 gauge. I talked to a sheet metal guy on Friday also and said it would be fine but need to watch out and not tighten screws too much like what...

Looking to put this under the roof of my 30x48x10 Strat O Span building. The purlins are 4' 8" apart. talked to the insulation guy yesterday and he seemed to think it was fine. Was wanting to get it ordered so I am not waiting on it. Was getting it from here...

Thank you for the links! I had my suspicions about it so that is why I posted. Don't know much about how insulation really works just need something that works. I will stick with the second link in my post for my insulation. My shop is all metal and I think it will work just fine. Thanks again...

Yes that is where I purchased it. Was a smooth transaction. I have had the building since January. Had a very wet Spring so I couldn't get ground ready for the concrete until late April. Regards, Jeff

Re: Transluecnt panels in the walls or roof of a shop? I don't like them if you are working underneath a vehicle. If you have to look up from underneath it seems you are always looking right into the skylight and can't see chit! Just my 2¢. Regards, Jeff
