I have two large shop vaca at work. The hoses are long and hard to store as they usually end up unwinding or being shoved in the corner of the shelf. What's a good way to store them?
Neat find! If you don't get any information here you might try the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) the largest antique car club in the US. They have a forum.
I don't generally pick up the ones you find on the road. My dad used an old pair to mount soeakers on the wall. They're fairly thick aluninum. Not much use otherwise. I do have all the old ones I've had. I also have several antique ones. I have a match set from NY 1925. I aslo have one with the...
There's no vetting of anything that's sold in 'antique' stores. It's whatever the seller thinks is worth money. How much did they want for it? This is probably why there's no actual antique stores anymore just antique malls. That way they make most of the money on renting spaces. They don't have...
I bought a few Williams flex sockets a while back at Harry J. Epstine. They also have SK. Haven't had a problem with them. https://www.harryepstein.com/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?q=Flex+socket
I am selling a Craftsman 109 lathe. It has a motor and some tooling, drill chuck, bits, morse tapper. However spindle is bent. What's a good selling price? It runs and works well with exception of thr spindle. What's a good price to ask? Plan to post on CL.

My father who's taken up blacksmithing says it's for fabrication. It fits into a metal grid that can accommodate different tools for sheet metal work or other fabrication work.
Nice job Jon! I like the green it's vintage looking. I also like engineering red, a color used in Navy engineering spaces kind of a dark red. I like the idea of the custom paint job. It makes the saw pop instead of thr industrial gray. Cool idea. Nice work by the way!
It would depend on how often you use them. If you put them on caster they would be mobile and could be out of the way when not in use. Thr drill press could go at the end of the bench where the bikes are facing the driveway. Plenty of room to work but out of the way.
