    SolarCity Inverter

I may have just made a big mistake. just purchased a SolarCity inverter. It has great specs. 6000 watt, hybrid, 240 vac split phase output, low frequency, etc. But... I've just learned that it's only compatible with a Tesla Powerwall for battery backup. How can this be??? Can anyone shed light...

Need help with model number of my DeWalt corded electric chipping hammer

Well... (that's a deep subject) I'm learning a few things on this journey. My first was in buying a Hex Shank Shovel Spade Chisel Bits for Demolition Hammer turns out that just because the shank is shaped right does'nt mean it's the right size. Guess next time I'll measure. (or ask)...

Outstanding WWheeler, that is spot on. Haven't found the part yet but I'm sure one will turn up sooner or later. There are quite a few parts dealers out there, so I'll keep looking till I find what I need. Regards, Jim

    Generator repair advice

Hi mm08822 and Davefr, thanks. I had just returned from the Harbor Freight site with the same link in tow. I had always believed that HF never carried replacement parts for their stuff. Well, live and learn I guess. In the past few years, I haven't been cleaning carbuerators because they are so...

    Generator repair advice

I don’t know if this is the right forum so admin please relocate if necessary. I have recently purchased a generator “as-is” and I’m sure it needs a carburetor. It’s a Harbor Freight Predator 8750. I will need help finding the correct identification of the engine, so I can buy parts. Is it a...

Help finding a high tech 48 volt AGM charger

Thanks. I know that you said that with tounge in cheek. The irony is that the cost of that charger is more than the cost of the scooter batteries and all. :)

Help finding a high tech 48 volt AGM charger

Hi kinglake and moss, thanks for calling my attention to the photo. I have already cancelled that order. I JOI guess you need to know that about 10 years ago I had a similar Chinese scooter with just a different badge. Naturally it had SLA’s. Well, I fried the hell out of those batteries in...

Help finding a high tech 48 volt AGM charger

Thank you jsf721. That's what I'm talkiing about. Still looking for a good (not just a lead acid one that's been re-labled) AGM charger that won't break the bank. (maybe I shouldn't be talking about break the bank. Might cause a virtual run.)
