    High bay or regular LED?

I dont know if its any help or not but a week or two ago I replaced 8 old t12 8' fixtures in my 30x40x12 with 8 8' led lights from home depot and could not be happier, they are very bright and no dark spots or shadows. I hung them with some brackets the sold next to the lights, they are maybe 8"...

    New hot dawg heater--too loud!

If I get around to ordering a different fan for this heater, such as the adp cayenne fan I will update this thread.

    New hot dawg heater--too loud!

My buddy up the street just put in the same heater, and his sounds just like mine. Its not unbearable, I just think this heaters naturally louder then the Cayenne heater I had before this because of the fan design.

    New hot dawg heater--too loud!

This winter I decided to replace my 30 year old reznor hanging garage heater, In hind sight I should have left it in as it was running fine and was nice and quiet, but had a small crack in one of the heat exchangers. My buddy has his own heating/cooling business and recommended the cayenne 75k...

    2-Post Lift Decision

http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Atlas-PV-9P I bought that lift a couple years ago and love it. Lifts my 2011 duramax that weighs just under 8k lbs easily. Supposedly these lifts have a 1.5 time safety rating, so the 9k needs to be able to lift 13.5k with out failure.

Finishing the inside of my 30x40x12 project

Are faced batts a must, or overkill? Can I just use unfaced batts and then screw the 7/16" osb over them?

Finishing the inside of my 30x40x12 project

Back in 2008, I built a 30x40x12 pole barn. A year or so later I insulated. and osb'd the ceiling. I have a natural gas overhead furnace and it really hasn't been bad to heat, but I scored some free lumber from work. We tore out a bridge in a park that was only a couple years old, and I got to...

    Pick a compressor for me

The harbor freight compressor you posted is a very good deal. My $1200 chicago pneumatic I bought a couple years ago has the same exact 2 stage pump and motor. I used mine to do a full frame off restoration, including body work on a car. I would worry more about getting a better 2 stage pump...

    New garage - cracking concrete

My 30'x40' pole barn floor and 30'x3' apron across the front are 5 years old and crack free. I did the sub grading and compaction myself and had trusted concrete finishers (friends from work) do the pour. They came back less then 24 hours after they poured the floor and did the 1" deep relief...

    Atlas 2 post lifts

I ended up buying the more expensive pv-9p, since its recommended for 3/4 ton diesels. Cant wait to get it and install it. Definitely need to buy the frame adapters, stands and oil changing drain, possibly a transmission jack, but I have spent enough $ for this week. I am very thankful for...

    Atlas 2 post lifts

I have been looking at lifts for the last month or so, and am stuck between these 2 9k pound lifts from greg smith equipment. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atlas-PV-9P-9-000-LB-2-Post-Auto-Car-Truck-Lift-Hoist-Two-Post-/271425491616?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item3f323852a0&vxp=mtr...
