    Asphalt Shingles Rust Stain Removal

Order the powder online from Amazon and mix your own, that is what I do. The powder is cheap and keeps forever. I always have some on hand, as it has so many good uses.

I've used an Oxallic acid salutation many times to clean rust stains from the asphalt roof shingles.

    Andersen Windows?

When I built my house in 2001, I had Andersen windows installed. I haven't had a single problem with any window in the house, so I am a big fan of Andersen windows. I think decent quality windows, from any of the higher quality window companies, would be a satisfactory window for your needs.

My dilema - coat or tile garage floor

As John says, it all depends on use and budget. I was in your shoes several years ago and decided on Epoxy. I have a 3 bay garage and use one bay for woodworking and one bay for my Mustang mechanical work. My floor looks as good now as when I first put it down. I have dragged floor jacks, used...

    Full Flake Coverage Question

I don't really think the company is responsible for smooth side sections. If it really bothers you, I would get some clear epoxy and lightly sand the side walls and put on a coat with a brush. If you wait the required amount of time, you can re-coat without doing any additional prep work. Add...

If you had $500 for dust collection, and limited time, what would you do?

A single stage DC will work fine with anything but a drum sander. I have the Jet 1100VX-CK DC and it was fine until I added a Jet drum sander. Now I am in the process of turning it into a 2 stage setup. If I was in you shoes, I would get the HF 2HP DC and add a good canister filter from Wen...

Full chip Polyaspartic in a home shop?

I went with full flake epoxy in my garage. I did Wolverine Coatings prime coat, color coat, flakes to rejection and 2 clear top coats of polyurethane. I have used jack stand, dragged floor jacks around, dropped many heavy objects and dragged my heavy woodworking machines around on mobile bases...

    Tire/wheel storage?

I have the heavy duty Hiloft rack for a set of mounted tires and wheels. I run one set in the summer months and the other set the rest of the time, so there is always one set on the wall. Except now :D i recently pulled my summer tires off and haven't put them on the rack yet, they are just...

    My Garage Flooring Story (w/pics)

Looks great and nice write up on everything. I went through somewhat the same process when I decided to do my garage floor. Ended up with a complete makeover. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=193742

    Which Garage Floor Coating?

Even if you go with tiles, you should put something on that floor. After the grinding the surface is all open pores with zero protection from the elements. I would at least put a sealer on it before you put the tiles down.

    Which Garage Floor Coating?

Nice job on the floor, like ard says, what finish are you looking for? I would give a shout out to some of the vendors on the forum. These guys all offer great product and will give you honest advice.
