I bought the racks from recommendations a few weeks ago and ended up liking them I got more for my other wrenches and I also have the CAT angle wrenches arriving soon that has the ernst included.
They work good for regular wrenches, but the flare nut and the Supercombos don't fit well. They...
I'm glad they work for you, but you can see the bigger 15/16 and 1" pushing the hooks sideways. My sets are slighter bigger and the 1" and 1.25" doesn't hold securely enough for me.
The ernst organizers do NOT fit the supercombos. The wrenches are too thick. On page two, I didn't noticed the rack that is included with the CAT wrenches appears to be metal.
I had the snap-on gen 1 version of those reversible. they were just okay. Much better wrench set elsewhere. The current gen of reversible are amazing. I remember the website said they were USA but this was in the era of Snap-on with no country of origin stamped on some of their tools.
Dang. I cant believe this wouldn't work. This vintage S9714MKDMGA feels super fragile at 18mm. For reference my new regular 14mm from snap-on is 19.5mm
Got the demolition chisel PB8820.DN, 210RAFSMA low profile ratchet kit with 19mm, 11mm, 9mm (no skips) and a RKRFC72 3/8" conversion kit for my stubby 1/4" ratchet.
I think the PB swiss chisels are the best.
I got my F100 in. It's perfectly fine to use but still has the free wheel effect. The clicks are very crisp. My RAF80A low profile ratchet feels smoother.
