Hoping someone will chime in. I'm replacing the seals/cups in a Walker 882 floor jack. I already have the seal kit from HCRC. I don't know if the seals/cups that are in this jack are original or already have been replaced. The main 1 1/4" hydraulic rod cup nut was staked on and looked like...
Can someone explain to me how these step up transformers work? I know that in a regular electrical panel, that you get 240 volts from two separate legs of 120 that are out of phase with each other, hence 120 volts from 1 leg to neutral and 120 volts from the other leg to neutral. I picked up...
Looking to possibly upgrade this push in rubber grommet/shut off valve set up for my portable generator. The tank is plastic with a 9/16" dia hole. There's more room to enlarge the hole if needed. I'm looking for something a bit more substantial that would have an internal tank nut/washer. Thanks.

My go to is naptha. Is basically what paint companies sell as wax and grease remover. It's excellent for removing acrylic based adhesive. I've used it for things like removing tape/residue for vent style visors to removing tar from automotive paint.

Found these two floor jacks on Craigslist a while ago. The seller originally wanted 200.00 each for them. He relisted them about a month ago for 100.00 each. I really only wanted the smaller Hein Werner. I asked him about a two for one deal, he said take the 2 ton Walker for 25.00! He told they...
I just finished installing the replacement pump. After examining the gasket, I determined that the pump seal was bad from the factory. The new pump doesn't leak at all. Thanks again for all of the replies!
