Where do local coating contractors usually buy epoxy? I'm guessing they don't order it online. I'm aware of Sherwin Williams but any other ideas on where to check locally?
Just saw a commercial on Roofmax shingle treatment. Does it really work? Is it worth it?
Looks like it has to be applied/hired out professionally.

Longer anchors to take advantage of deeper concrete is great. And I don't see how beefing up the overhead cross bar can't add strength overall. Its not
necessary because the posts are designed to hold the load with no crossbar like a baseplate setup but I'm sure its even stronger now after...
Another benefit with SW is that anything that isn't color tinted you can return if you over order. Clear epoxy or urethane clear coat can can be returned. You can order extra so you don't run out on the job and return unused.
Also SW has their color tint codes in their computer and years...
SW gives some pretty big discounts to the right people . Many businesses get like 20% off. Try to find a business friend or get them to negotiate directly with you.
For my 475 square feet 2 stall section its cost me
2 * $110 per color coat
2 * $105 per clear coat
Order Torginol brand flake...
This info makes me feel a bit more confident with close spacing. I don't have Simpson anchors but this doc gives the impression that close spacing is an option and shows the load adjustment tables.
It looks like perhaps the load rating for my application (.75 diameter, 3.25 inch embedment and...
I used Legacy Industrial HD kit and I have some issues with it and can't recommend it. It was very thin, especially for something advertised as nearly 100% solids. I think they have some quality control issues. I have issues with it changing color and a severe issue with the clear coat not...
Curious on the spacing of anchors on my atlas platinum 10k 2 post lift. I'm using the supplied anchors, unknown brand.
I've read on multiple anchor sites that the general rule of thumb for anchor spacing is a minimum of 10 times the diameter. That equals 7.5 inches for these 3/4" wedge...
I've used macropoxy and rexthane in my garage almost 5 years ago. SW told me it was their best epoxy besides their GP line (general polymers) but their GP stuff is geared toward contractors and they hesitate to sell it to DIY'ers and its harder to find a rep to help you with it.
My macropoxy...
I've read a bit on how epoxy coated slabs still radiate in floor heat just fine. but you should not use garage tile
was curious if an epoxy with a full broadcast flake would insulate any of the floor heat?
I have shark grip in the top coat of the clear rexthane. still can get slippery if you run into the garage with rain or snow.
off in the corner I did a little comparison. left side of picture has the shark grip traction additive. right side does not. the shark grip dulls it down a bit and...
