    How fussy is too fussy...

    I'd tap it flush, put a little grease on the spots to keep from rusting(the screw will poke thru), remove exterior screws from that panel, then buy another panel that color and lay it on top of the existing and screw it down, at least you would know it wouldn't rust and the building would look...

    so if you are saying concrete R value = 1 and a ground temp of 50F, then in my building with an uninsulated floor and no heat source, in the winter when its below 30F that the floor is actually heating my shop?....cool

    mine is deep and I love it, 64 deep 32 wide, I can get 3 cars wide and 3 cars deep, I can park my super cab long bed super duty with 18 ft car hauler in there hitched up no problem, I keep the projects in the back out of the way, the dailys in front, it would also be harder to steal my project...

    yea it got past my filter, if you decide to give it a try anyway, clean a section of duct, and after a week check it to see how much ash has acumulated, keep an eye on it.

    and joes169 the bricks have no holes or formed indents, my wife picked the brick and when my dad seen the stacks he questioned the no holes issue, the place of purchase and the mason said the brick was intended for walls it was just a different style, there are other houses locally that use it...
