All 3 are leaking ,will not hold fluid seems at the pump. They havent been bent,or really abused just normal lifting within there range. Not rusty at all. I know they have never been rebuilt. I bought 2 HF Jack's to replace but these 3 have been with me since about 1967. So I thought take apart...
I have 3 bottle Jack's with number plates missing.i grew up with these so they have meaning. One is a 12 ton Hein warner , 2nd is a mid 1960s 5 ton ,orange colored Sears,3rd is a 1.5 ton again Sears mid 60s. The 2 Sears seem to have same pump. I just need to know where and what parts to order...
Ok thanks again for the information. I got frustrated with the charging not charging. I have a brand new never used Ryobi 40 volt blower that sat in basement. Long story why. Now battery wont charge. I'm thinking trying to pulse charge it.
Thanks guys. I see I can get 2 new batteries and charger at HD for about $ 70.00. I'll keep because individual cells ck good. Save for another with cell problem. I'm a long time Milwaukee tool guy. When I was self employed that's all we used,110 volt. I'm slowly getting all my yard battery...
I'm reading 18.4 volts on + and - terminals on battery itself(before electronics). Where battery connects to tool( after electronics) I'm getting 7.4 volts. Circuit board looks clean nothing burnt or corroded. I'm thinking this is major board problem. Any ideas? Thanks Bob.
I have 3 bottle Jack's I started with as a teenager. One is a 12 ton hein warner. The other 2 are sears craftsman from 1967,one is 1 1/2 ton other is a 5 ton(both pumps look the same). Original model tags are missing. Looking to rebuild. I know HBF Jack's cheaper. Thses Jack's have served me...
You can never over brace something. My father always had bracing a priority, safety! Not production. I made 96 " long aluminum brackets that would keep trusses spaced properly, 16" or 24" oc. Another idea we would double check trusses when they arrived for size. Then double check our building...
I'm thinking to add a 110v mig welder without gas to my tools. I have ac/dc Miller and large 220v miller mig with gas. Any suggestions quality price. I was looking at tractor supply. Thanks.Bob
I've framed alot. Framed my garage,30x60 myself. Walls were 2x6x16longx 6ft high,on concrete block 4ft high.I'd frame one and slowly raise it with braces. The wall was built at block wall height.I had bolted a 2x8 to the block.I just had to make sure it didn't slide.I would get some help just for...
We wheeled it with wheel barrows.guess I'm old fashioned.1 cu yd will cover 80 sq ft a 4 inches thick.concrete here in western pa about 110.00 per yd.just for concrete.
Never had that happen. However if he was busy, not enough labor, and it got away from him.Yes.Also 'some' concrete cos after first round if there is concrete left over will load on top!!! Thus creating a 'hot' load that can set up to fast.My 2cts.
Note sure about your drainage and soil. However sounds good.We try to keep the grade of the stone 'level' as practical.Stone is cheaper than concrete. When calculating concrete I add approximately 10% for out of level and voids in stone base it adds up,ask me how I know. You do not want to be...
I rebuilt my 5x7 last year.I used 3 " channel.I kept the 'c' out and flush cut cross pieces between. On first and last I cut 45 degree braces to keep trailer square in use and abuse.I built a tandem 6k 35 yrs ago only regret was not using 6" rectangular tubing ,I used 4".my 2cts. Bob
