Sorry, tried to take a shot of bow in header... just ended up dropping level on my noggin and dropping phone! :)
...and yes, that's a 150" projector screen above the door.

Yeah, I checked with a string since my biggeststraightedge was only 9 ft. I even installed a heavy duty strut on the door to help stiffen it to see of it would help. Definitely the header.
Hey all, I have a literal garage question today! LOL
while doing my reno, ditra, and tile... I noticed that the top header on my 16 ft garage door is bowed outward enough that light shines between the rubber seal and the door at the middle. I checked the door and it is dead straight. The bow is...
I think those are the correct wings for the 8". The 10" had diagonal bracing AFAIK. Maybe someone is more knowledgeable here can confirm.
My 10" had a homemade extension wing on one side and the standard craftsman on the other. Someone spent a LOT of time welding that puppy up!
I've been sitting on a craftsman 100 (113.29992) restore for about 2 years. Looking forward to starting in 2021. The saw I bought was used continuously since birth and is still all there and in really good shape. I even got the O.G. stand and an extra set of cross-rails/supports and hold down...

The home depot ones that are black with yellow lids are pretty solid, but expensive
I vote press fit. Usually, you'd pull the whole shaft and use press plates or a bearing splitter... if this were a transmission. If there isn't a set screw in the hole, you can bet it is pressed on.
Soak it with penetrating lube and try your puller again tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing man! I had a friend that used to do batches of wine. Never got to see his fermenting setup. Brewing is a lot more intensive (but also more rewarding, lol). My wife would kill me if I suddenly announced I was going to start brewing my own lager... :-)
@ducksface, that's almost exactly what I'd build with just 1 roll up and a side door that has a real sill. Neighbor's is 6', but I'd go 7' to avoid knocking myself out getting through the door.
I'm going to try to convince them that since I'm a competent carpenter (and car painter), that I can...
