I tried to find an old thread but didn’t have any luck.
Essentially I need to find the rubber seal that goes vertically on both sides of the shop garage door. I currently have 2.5 inch wide trim that slides into the metal part of the shop but I am only able to find the seals that go on the...
Just got my 24x40x12 steel shop finished and my electrician is coming tomorrow to wire. I was curious on a few things if guys could please help. I'm doing 4ft lights and do you guys having them running with the beams, or across the beams making a CROSS shape? Also, should I put them at the 12ft...
A screw is not missing from that area. I'm honestly not sure why there are the few holes I'm thinking maybe the made them and then moved the piece of sheet metal, and the holes didn't line up so they just made news ones and left the old ones unattended.
Well it is on the side of the sheet metal. So I don't know how much rain would actually enter, just trying to be proactive. The holes are about the size of a pencil eraser where a screw could/should have gone.
Need it to be waterproof to ensure no rain water gets in. As far as how it looks, I could care less, plus you probably won't be able to see the holes once I cover up the inside with whatever I decide, Sheetrock, etc.
So knowing that what is the best application for what I described. Thanks again.
Just got my shop finished and when it is completely black I can see about 3-4 small holes of sunlight cooming inside that I would like to fill in. Is there a certain type of putty or caulk you guys could recommend please for this job?
Thank You.
I'll probably just stick with something 60 inches and under although those bigass fans do look nice.
Thanks for the link JD. I think that is kind of what I am looking for.
Anyone having an suggestions on how many fans I should install? I'm guessing it's a personal preference??
My 24x40 shop is being completed this week and I was wondering if you guys thought 1 fan would be sufficient or should I get 2? That shop will be insulated, but no heat or air. 12 foot side walls and I live in Oklahoma where it is going to be over 100 degrees this week.
Thanks guys. Please let...
Should have a pad poured in a few weeks for a 24x40 shop. So I was seeing if I could pick yalls brain for ideas on what I need to do on my end. So obviously the electricity will be run, and some tubing for a cold water sink. Also need to run something for the waste water and I am still deciding...
The wife and I just built our house last year in this newer developing neighborhood so hopefully we stay here for another 20+ years.
Not sure the length of my current truck/boat combo but everything I've read says build as big as you can which is why I'm trying to go with the 40 deep.
Sorry if this has been discussed, but does this forum have a list of builders or refferals for each state?
Looking for information on people that build shops in the Oklahoma City area specifically.
Thanks
EricP that is one of my main concerns. I took the boat out twice last year and went deer/duck hunting 1 time each. I imagine my limited free time I have now will be limited to almost nothing the older the kids get.
However as others have pointed out, the price won't get cheaper over time and...
