the topside of the table may have slight pits from the rust after i clean it up. how should i handle those? how will the pits effect the operation of the saw? thanks much

i am knocking the rust off this craftsman table saw and am hoping to get it painted before it gets too cold out. my question is what should i do with the underside of the table and the section that holds the blade. it is covered with rust but doesn't appear to be too deep. should i just paint it...

seems pretty high at 150.00 although it is nice to have them all the same look. shopping around leaves you with a chance of mixed styles.

the 6" ridgid vise i picked up off CL on New Years eve when nobody else was looking:) 25.00…. it lasted about 3 minutes on CL

the paint underneath the blue is a hammered grey and underneath that is grey primer. i think those three coats should hold up well. i have an identical table i painted in red to match my HF box but now what to splotch it with ivory ( my favorite Harley colors were red and ivory back in the day)
