Doing that will only work for a little while. Just drop the cash on the strips. My 88 was faded like yours is, I installed the upgrade strips and it works perfectly now. The LCD fading is a common issue on the older Fluke meters.

I have a 725, and it literally blows any other impact I've used in the shop out of the water. I've used a few other techs guns, and they are both heavier and weaker. My 725 will literally twist my wrist off If I open it up and let it freewheel.
