    maxlite light hanging hardware?

I wired mine with FMC. They are fairly level from end to end but the FMC makes them twist a little and not line up straight in a line. I could see where it would makes some people crazy but it doesn’t bother me.

    maxlite light hanging hardware?

Oh..... Well if you bend them out they do a great job at holding a S hook and hanging them from jack chain.

    maxlite light hanging hardware?

The maxlites can be hung, they have little tabs that can be bent out to hang them. I ordered a spool of jack chain, some mini caribiners for the top of the chain to adjust height and small "S" hooks to hook the chain to the fixture, all from amazon. It worked well and was fairly cost effective.

Quick review of LED lighting plan

I just put lights in my 30' x 35' unfinished metal garage. Platonic solids' recommendations was to do 3 rows of lights with a total of 24 I believe. I ended up doing pretty much half of that with 13 lights and I'm thoroughly happy. My ceiling is about 14'-15' and I hung them from jack chain...

LED in shop, anybody regret 5000K color choice?

I bought LED strip lights and bulbs from the "best fixture ever" thread a few months ago. I had the same questions as you and I went with 5000K and I am happy with it, never thought it was too bright or blue.

3 or 4 point saddle bend

I agree about the 3 point saddles being difficult. I recently wired my garage with 3/4" conduit and had zero experiencing bending conduit beforehand. I was able to do the offsets and several 90's without much trouble but the one 3 point saddle I had to make gave me hell. There was several...

    Sdr 35

Has anyone here used 4" SDR 35 sewer pipe for drainage under a dirt or asphalt milling driveway? I'm having stormwater drainage issues and I need to run a couple drainage pipes under my driveway. I was initially going to use the black corrugated stuff but I figured I'd be better off with pvc...

Eagle natural seal, is it slipper?

I just swept/blew of my floor real good and then applied it. Its beading up nice like its supposed to. I haven't gotten to test its "sealing effectiveness" yet but its cool to see the water bead up, it looks just like a freshly waxed car.

    maxlite buyers beware

It is a maxlite issue, shineretrofits said that the product ships directly from the manufacturer. They are essentially a middle man making easy money. Thankfully the tombstones were shipped overnight as I asked and they showed up at my house around 10:30 am the next morning. I was able to...

    maxlite buyers beware

So I recently bought 13 of the maxlite "best fixture ever" from shineretrofits.com and started installing them today. They came in two boxes, one box with four lights and the other was a whole "case" of nine. Everything was going well as I started with the first 4 lights but when I got to the...

Eagle natural seal, is it slipper?

After looking at your website it appears that my floor is not polished but actually just power troweled. I guess I shouldn't have any issues with it becoming slippery.

Eagle natural seal, is it slipper?

I already bought a 5 gallon bucket of eagle natural seal to seal the new floor of my detached garage. The concrete is polished so it is nice and smooth. My wife will be parking her car in the garage soon. If I apply this eagle natural seal to my polished concreted floor will it make it...
