▄▀▄ wiring additional flourescent fixtures ▄▀▄

Currently I have 4 8' T-8 fixtures on a 20 amp breaker in the shop. However, there is still a a poorly lit area. I have purchased two more 8' fixtures and want to wire them into the existing circuit. Luckily the current wire ends where I need to add the two new strips. My thinking is to connect...

    EPXOY COATING----shop floor---- ?-?-?-?

I am preparing the shop floor for a new coating of epoxy paint. I have read many different systems and have narrowed it down to two. One paint supplier we have in FL is Scott's which have excellent house products. The other is Sherwin Williams who has their Amor Seal in a "kit" form. I'm not a...

▬▬ Best Garage Lighting Fixtures ▬▬

After reading many comments on LED & fluorescent lighting, I am still unsure on what type and style of lights to install in the 27'x34' shop/garage. I would be open to learn what other options may be available and where to purchase them.

    Repainting box - primer?

Don't think I would blast it..... unless you can find someone who can do it with a synthetic media and NOT sand which would be much too strong. Try a powder coating shop, they usually know how to blast. I use 4th Dimension S.Williams when I need a single stage. But again, you will only need a...

    Point and shoot camera

Have always had good results with the CANON brand at all levels. By far the WORST camera I ever owned was a "Casio" ! ! ! ! Can't say enough negatives about the service and camera !!!!! I would stay away from that brand.

    Repainting box - primer?

I see that you wrote you wanted a "budget" solution so to that approach Wal-mart paint would work just as well since it is a Sherwin Williams product. If you're concerned about badly rusted areas, I would prep with some Ospho; that will stop any rust and acts as an excellent primer. Also, since...

____To RESTORE or NOT to restore?????_____

I have 2 or 3 Chas. Parker & Columbia vises that I won't be needing. I am thinking of blasting them and either painting or powder-coating. I wonder if that would be worth the time and effort and would increase the value enough to do the work. I have looked around and am finding a wide ranging...

Vintage Misc. GARAGE "STUFF"....best place to list-sell ????????

I have a few"vintage" garage items I am planning to sell. I am wondering if there is a website/auction or other format that would more specifically pertain to this type of merchandise. (other than craigslist or ebay) Maybe some of the other members have had some luck selling/trading on a...
