    Caterpillar tool box paint code?

I looked it up, that's Persian orange like Allis Chalmers used to use. That might be a match.

    Caterpillar tool box paint code?

Thank you but highway yellow is the color for the tractor. I want to paint my toolbox so I want to use the same color as the box in the picture. The box is a totally different color it's orange. Unfortunately I don't have one of those original boxes to get a chip off of or anything.

    Caterpillar tool box paint code?

Hello all, looking for a paint code from vintage Cat tool boxes from the 70s. Box looks like this. As you can see, the box is a different color than the tractor. I believe the box would have been made by Metal Tool and Cabinet Company, from Chicago. Thanks in advance!

Who still uses beam-type torque wrenches?

I agree. I have two clickers, and I have used them. But I have more trust in the beam type, I wish I had bought all beam type.

What's your go to ratchet and why?

In 3/8 I think my favorite is SK , but lately I've been using a Craftsman with the built-in thumb wheel.

Who still uses beam-type torque wrenches?

I have a Cman half inch drive I use, along with a Snap On ratchet adapter. Most often for lug nuts. Come to think of it , I probably use it more than my 3/8 in. drive clickers.

    Old Sears Craftsman "buzz-box"

Sorry to bring up an old thread,I just happened to come across this. I have a welder like that but newer. I believe most of those old Sears Craftsman welders were made by Century. IIRC Lincoln bought out Century. I think Century made welders for Montgomery Ward as well. Hope this helps with your...

    Can a Bobcat do this?

Co-sign. :) Graders are very productive at getting building pads right on grade, but I think the 30x40 size building the OP describes is pretty small for a grader.

For the connoisseur of vintage SK

I know some old Craftsman 3/4 in. drive sets were actually manufactured by S-K and they came in a hip roof tool box just like that one. So I'm pretty sure some of the old Craftsman boxes were manufactured by S-K.

    Old Kmart Power tools

My first two socket sets were Kmart 3/8s and 1/4 in. drive sets pretty much like the ones in the pics above. (I think mine is a little newer?) I still have the metric one, keep it on the truck in case of emergency, and to let the neighbors borrow.

If it's an "Open and Shut" Case for You, Let's See Those Craftsman MTS

That makes sense. They seem different than the other EE era Craftsmans.

If it's an "Open and Shut" Case for You, Let's See Those Craftsman MTS

I have a few of the round Cman ratchets. I am a big fan of S-K ratchets, but I do like the round Craftsmans, because they have that spinner built in. I have one in 1/4 inch drive that I use a lot.

    Toolbox- Mac, Matco, Snap On

Hmnn.... that gives me an idea. I wonder if it would be possible to key my Husky and SnapOn boxes for the same key.
