I cannot recall where exactly they're located, but Tennsmith is in TN and makes shears, brakes, etc...

They look to be the same as what I'm seeing sold as the "new" Fairmount and a few other names. They're all Tiawan made.

A lot of their stuff is made in Canada now, eh. I've noticed Portugal too. THAT does turn me off quite a bit. I bought a set of files the other day that came from China since I couldn't find any US made ones, even on the SO site. I paid $6 for the Chinese ones. Would have paid an insane amount...

Since I initially posted in this thread I've picked up a lot of tools, and fixed up a lot of tools as well. I've also re-arranged my box quite a bit so I thought I'd post up a couple fresh pics. There are still more changes coming, as you will notice there are some restored hammer heads awaiting...

I finally got the stuff to install a Snap On tube type lock in my cart. I ordered it keyed the same as my SO box so now I can used just one key for both of them. As an added bonus any time you buy a lock you get 2 keys, so now I have extras!

I have the March flier and it's different than the body tools flier that's on the website. I wish my dealer would have brought that as well. I guess as it sits I'm just lucky to see a SO dealer at all.
