I am a body man and use the new 12v Dewalt daily and love it. However, I think for what you are doing you will need the extra power of the 20v. I'm glad you ask that...I only have one reversible one and it came from Sears. It was bought to replace a non-reversible, straight wrench that went awol. I didn't realize I bought the wrong style until I already had it in my box. Perhaps I should double check and make sure it's a Gearwrench...
