hello..i will soon be pouring the rest of the floor in my pole barn/shop and have formed up a small pad 4x8 at the man/walk door. should I drill and tie this small pad with rebar to my existing floor or is this a bad idea? I am located in NE Mo. Thanks.

my dad and I recently bought a grizzly mill/drill g1007.. we ordered a 6" swivel vise for it. the vise seems huge!! can a vise be to big for a machine? the shipping was $70 so really hate to have to send it back and be out a total of $140 plus another $70 to ship a smaller vise..thoughts?
I would like to put a new hard handle on one of my so ratchets. it has a hard handle on it now, but it is kinda beat up so I would like to replace it. my question is how do I remove the current handle? how do I put the new one one? and where is the best place to find a replacement handle for it...
I've got an older Milwaukee abrasive chop saw that is probably 15 years old that has quite working..not sure but I think the motor may be toast. I have already replaced it with a new saw, but just can bring myself to throw out the old saw. Any suggestions? thanks.
