    The the CP717 is .498 much bigger than the typical shank .401 I got an ajax tool 3700-03 retainer from ebay that supposed to work with my gun but it didn't...pissed! It looks nice quality..may have to put it in classifieds

    @ign I think the OTC is made in the USA and will last forever and thanks to contacting HF. I notice the 50 ton in therehf flyer for next month so hopefully they will stock it.@volaredon. the northern tool 4o ton has some nice v blocks that is one of the reason I like it

    I have the HF4 not even 2 months and the lock is jammed already. I have to play with the key to get to turn. I know is cheap but that quick to have lock tumbler issues? any warranty on this? I think i lost recipe

    I hate the original cp717 coil shank retainer:( I have a hard time removing and installing shanks) any one know of quick .498 shank retainer ?:mad: that cp doesn't provide a true quick retainer considering is one of the most expensive air hammers in the market:shocking:

    3/4" drive socket SAE / metric same size question

    Northern tool has wide selection of metric 3/4 drives. my local store had them 1/2 off with 20 dollar coupon for $100, they come out cheap! the 48mm+ probably never used them but are great as addapters for the press

    I went today to buy a grinder and notice 50% discount on all 3/4 drive sockets add a $20 coupon that is tempting deal:drool: got 10 sockets:beer: even if you don't need big sockets they make good adapters for your press for bearing or bushings.

    I need to talk to a HF store see if they still that policy, $89 is not bad. @ign I have used a screw type press from OTC is great but I have to support China at this time is not shop equipment so I don't need something that will last forever probably sell it in 1-2 years..

    The press is to be used by me in a pro shop. The shop has a 20 ton cheap h frame press at the 2nd shop and I hate it, embarrassing that they don't have an OTC at least 40 ton. ..any way that is for another post..this press by northern tool it does have a winch and love the design of the arbor...

    harbor freight otc hub tamer version

    Many techs are using it, it does the job but the bolt is junk, I think this tool is more like the baum tool so every one is buying the baum screw. I have the B90 master for $200 more :thumbup:
