Thinking about using VCT on my new concrete floor. How will it stand up to water. Garage mostly used to store hot rods but may decide to park my daily driver truck in there too. Will water cause it to peel away? Will tire movement mark the floors bad?

Lay out the roll on the floor. Make a pencil mark so you don't have to measure the batts every time then lay a board on the floor. Cut with a straight edge on top of the batt through to the board. Cuts easily.

Compressed insulation is useless and a waste of money. You can you a HD insulation if you can get it otherwise use what is recommended.

Have 1500 sq ft Yes and i do like the yellowed look. Who would have the tinting agent? At a paint store? I was really thinking of an amber shellac. Any reasons NOT to use that?

Looking to seal my garage walls and ceiing. Like to give it a little color buy don't want to stain it. Thinking of amber shellac and other ideas? What have you used? I do want a little color...........

Using 1x10" grade 3 pine T&G siding boards. I can work with wood myself but would of had to pay to have it sheet rocked. Pine was about .80 sq ft. = about 1500.00. Sheet rock would of been 2500- 3000 primed in this area. Hope this helps

Cheaper than having someone sheet rock it if you can install it yourself

Where would be best to place the lift? Plan on storing a car on top Looking to store as many cars as I can but want to have a place to work on one too. They are all 32 Fords measure about 6' x 15 ' roughly. Pics would help if someone has something similar.

Any one ever do the inside of their garage in pine? Like to see some pics. Doing it tomorrow. Any bad points?
