Old Craftsman Radial arm saw I restored

Well first you're going to have to get rid of the rust, you can use marine gel or what I did was just sprayed it down with wd40 and took an abrasive brush drill attachment thing to it. once the rust was completely gone I took it to my buffer and spent about an hour going from white to green on...

Old Craftsman Radial arm saw I restored

Woofabear, a lot of replying to do! Where the hell were you when I was looking for it! Where did you find it? That is actually a junk blade, when you calibrate the saw you have to run the blade over a metal t-square over and over which trashes the blades. That being said, I do have a few...

Old Craftsman Radial arm saw I restored

This is actually my second restore although this one took me considerably longer, probably because of the effort I put into it and partly because I was remodeling my garage concurrently. The shape of this saw was much better than the last one I bought (the 113.29002) since it was about 10...

Need some serious help with a garage door that might have just been trashed.

Well I got it all fixed, turns out the opener's logic board was bad, replaced it willy nilly and everything is working fine now, I managed to roll out a lot of the dents on the door and got it re-aligned myself which took considerable time but its done!

I was going to post about this awesome place I just came from that was basically a liquidation center for Lowes, I got some awesome stuff but when I came home and closed the garage door for the night, a piece of wood had fallen and had a small corner blocking the garage door, well the door hit...

Just got a new table saw! but I have a few questions :(

Unfortunately that wont be possible since the cord on the saw is only 12-15 inches long, im going to run to Ace and see if I cant find a heavy duty cord for the saw. The instruction manual has a chart for cord usage.

Just got a new table saw! but I have a few questions :(

Alright guys it appears to be fixed, I took the belt off and turned the motor on and it sounded like a champ so I put the belt back on, made sure it was correct and fired it up, it started in about 2 seconds full speed and cuts like a pro. Now Ive got some cleaning to do cause this thing was...

Just got a new table saw! but I have a few questions :(

Well **** I think I might have solved the squeeking but found another issue. I took a look at the belt and it appeared to have slipped off the sprocket while bringing it home so it was twisting just on the friction of the bolt so I put the belt back on the sprockets and turned it on, nothing...

Just got a new table saw! but I have a few questions :(

I tell you the extension cord is older than me and im 26  so that might be the number one issue, I was just testing it to make sure it worked. As for 10 seconds, it seemed like 10 seconds but could have been 5, Ill check it again tomorrow. I might need to replace the belt which ill do...

Just got a new table saw! but I have a few questions :(

I was lucky enough to be able to make a trade for a Ridgid TS3612 table saw. The owner claimed to not have used it much and upon looking at it it seems to be true since it looked to have little wear on it at all. One thing I was wondering was when I plugged it in it seemed to have a little...

Will Trade 2 Wii's, one new in box, one modded for a table saw

I bought 2 Wii's about 6 months ago, one to mod and play with and another to sell. Of course right when I buy it the demand for wii goes down faster than....well...you get it... So its been sitting there in its box in the corner of my office all alone. Well last week my Table saw bit the dust...

    Im having a love affair

The 8 piece set is about 600-700 everywhere but I spent 2 weeks looking for good deals and got it for 400! Good god no. Of course, I hone them every 3 days. If you have a shun you need a shun steel because its blade is 16 degrees vs 22 making it hard to hone on a normal steel. Shun gives...
