CUDA PARTS WASHER GOOD OR BAD

The shop I worked in like 20 years ago we had 2, a large one that only the automatic transmission guy used and a smaller one that everyone else used. They worked good as long as you didn't put the really nasty stuff in. Here is my opinion on parts cleaning. Option 1 Hot pressure washer to clean...

Well boys, say goodbye to the red cans of brake cleaner

I worked for a company as a mechanic in the early 80s that was too cheap to buy brake clean, they just had us use ether to clean the grease out of the drum when doing a wheel seal. Talk about getting high at work.

    Air Compressor Tank Explosion Danger

Had a Craftsman air compressor tank blow out the bottom years ago, it was my grandfathers, and I figure he bought it new about 1963 or 64 when he retired. When it blew, I was sitting next to it airing up a tire or something a couple of my neighbors came out wondering what that boom was.

    41” Craftsman Toolbox

I bought one new about 2002 and to be honest with you I was never happy with it, I thought it was flimsy. I sold it in 2017 and moved my tools back into my old red and black 70s toolboxes. I had the top and middle and bottom 41" boxes in black.
