    I have the scissors jack style one and I bought it to do a fuel tank drop on my car worked great and will use it again shortly to pull the transmission from my Ranger for a rebuild.

    Too high even with the jack all the way down. I also have one pre Harbor Freight and believe me it's worthless.

    Years ago, I bought the Gear Wrench stubbies and are happy with them. I personally would not buy regular length ratcheting wrenches that's what regular wrenches are for. The stubbies work well in tight locations.

    One of the big car magazines did this to a Ford Falcon about 20 years ago and it turned out pretty nice with lots of time and sanding it out between coats of paint.

    When I quit turning wrenches, I had 2 5-gallon buckets about half full each because anymore and they were too heavy to move. I still have a lot of it.

    Ratcheting wrench recommendations?

    While I am not turning wrenches anymore, I purchased stubby metric and standard Gearwrench years ago. I never saw the need for standard length versions as I only used them in tight locations and used regular wrenches to break things loose. Just my opinion.
