    Quick ceiling fan question

So I have an older home where all the electrical is ran in conduit. Been doing a lot of work to the home lately. Next up is removal of the old ceiling fans, and install of some matching ones that will push a bit more light. I noticed there was no additional support bar on the metal ceiling box...

    Looking to do some fishing

Alright I just finished this project. The conduit is 3/4" inside diameter. I ended up running the wiring from the panel to the first bedroom light, then to the closet, then to the bathroom, the second bedroom, and hallway. Then I ran it down the wall into the switch for the hall light. Finally I...

    Mastercool by champion?

New evaporative cooler any good Well I just bought my first house 7 months ago. It was built in 1965 and has a traditional style swamp cooler. I'm not sure when swampers first came out, so I'm not sure if the house came with it or was added years later. I know the swamper is at least 20 years...

    Me and My Son

well I remember always wanting to be with my dad. He worked weird hours and I didn't see him a whole lot. But when he was around I always wanted to spend time with him. I always admired him because he could fix anything. Not only that but I thought he was so cool with all his tools and big...

    Small compressor recommendations

I think dewalt makes an oiled compressor that small. Buts its pricey. Looks at lowes. I think Cambell Hausfield makes a few smaller ones. I have 2 gallon oilless that has served me well for interior trim work and small jobs where I cant take my larger one.

    Craftsman C3 line trimmer???

My parents just picked one up. Seems to work well. Battery lasted longer then I thought it would. It can trim their medium sized yard without charging and still hasd some juice left. Its pretty light. I like the auto feed on the spool. All in all its not bad.

125 amp main panel... Now what?

Well I was looking at the meter and the mast head. It really looks straightforward. It has to be inspected though correct? I'm start to think I could do it after really looking at my setup. I know I can replace the panel, just not sure if it would all pass code. Thats what worries me.

125 amp main panel... Now what?

Here is a pic of the panel. I guess the reason I dont want to replace the panel is in order to comply with the new code I need to upgrade the mast/masthead and that can get expensive from talking to my neighbors who have done this. Opinions?

125 amp main panel... Now what?

So I just bought my house at the end of last year and am in need of more storage. So I am wanting to build a 18'x24' shed/workshop in my backyard. My plan is to run a subpanel out to the shed. However my main panel is a 125amp panel. Can I run a sub panel off the main panel? It appears as though...

    Larger sockets

My thoughts.... Not sure. I roughly figured it up and what I want/ need would be around $230 for the larger sizes and the deep sockets I want. I just assumed somewhere would be a set of just the big sockets. I have bought a few sets for wrenches. Nothing for sockets.

    Larger sockets

I have all Craftsman sockets in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" sizes. I am missing the larger sizes in all three drive sizes. Mainly in 3/8" and 1/2" I am missing the most. Anything over 22mm in both sizes and bigger sizes in deep well sockets both sae and metric. I have only 12pt. in deep 1/2" drive...
