    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Building a 16x22 Gambrel Workshop

Thanks! it is a polyaspartic coating. The company that did it did a very good job, although the coating is not as thick as I would've liked. I wanted to use an industrial floor coating company I'd dealt with at an old job, but I couldn't get a quote out of them. Looked up Formations...

Oh man. That birch is beautiful. Where'd you find it? The spine idea is interesting, i'd paint it BRG like your mandoor though. Presumably you're putting the sheets vertically then? I drywalled the ceiling on the taller part of my garage as I knew I wouldn't be attaching anything there. Painted...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Building a 16x22 Gambrel Workshop

The exterior looks fantastic! I did the same with my garage - feeding the house from a 200A panel in the garage. Lots of room, enough to add something like a surge protector for the house in the panel. It's really nice not having the overhead wire crossing the yard anymore. Jump on that...

I think my builder got it from Star, and if not there, windsor plywood. I'll double check. Edit: Got it from Star. it's fir. $77/sheet in march of 2023. ouch!

Plywood is the way to go. I did 5/8" G1S for my garage. Great for attaching stuff to.

Amazing! you're going to be able to fit so many screwdrivers in there! And the machine tool find is incredible.

POE cameras in a detached garage

what's wrong with, say, keeping an eye on your infinity with unify cameras? When I built a new garage, I pulled fiber out to it, put my 8 port POE switch in there, a NanoHD AP, a couple of g3 flex, and changed to a UDM-SE in the house from USG+cloudkey. The instant cameras are really handy...

    The 1/2” Square Drive Thread

I've got a very compact Koken 1/2" drive ratchet, highly portable but man is it hard to undo a wheel bolt

    Winter work jackets like Carhartt?

They do still make quite a bit locally, although it's hard to tell which products. Still a large manufacturing presence in Winnipeg. Big Bill and Big Al both do pretty much everything in Montreal. I like my Big Bill coveralls. Gostwear.com has good prices. But terrifically slow shipping.

    Vessel Impacta Pozidriv

I only abuse it as much as it does me! (it's a TD5 defender, so both old enough and new enough to be shite)

    Vessel Impacta Pozidriv

I'll poke around for a source that will ship to Canada, otherwise i'll probably finally cave and buy the set from EU amazon, and generously gift the redundant PH drivers to a friend who's elbows deep in a honda cub rehab.; I'd rather the Vessels, as the impacta have come in handy, but I haven't...

    Vessel Impacta Pozidriv

@Dave455 I've noticed them on Amazon.de for quite a while now, but only as the aforementioned set with PH impactas. I already have a pair of PH impactas so haven't pulled the trigger. Being as I have an old Land Rover, I really want the PZ versions. If I could find just the PZ ones I'd snap...

Above 1200 Sq/FT From Urban Pie Factory To Mountain Barn

@jake28 WRT Hardie products, when I did my garage it was "twelve weeks if they don't cancel the order on us" availability. I went with a different, engineered wood product, and did stucco for most of the rest of the walls. It turned out ok.

    Show your "Mini" Tool Box.

Made in Taiwan, the same as the full size versions. Yes, ball bearing slides. Strong detent, which is good as they stay closed, but also a bit annoying since there is not a proportional amount of weight in the drawers.
