Does any one have suggestions for homemade exhaust tubing benders? Im too cheap to buy one or haul the car frame to a muffler shop.

Help! My 3/8 drive snap on tourqe wrench died on me :sad: Its been with me for 15+ years. The lock ring doesnt engage and the adj. handle rotates when you use it, very frustrating :eyecrazy: I need to get all of them calibrated also. Does anyone know where to get this done? No one local can...

I bought my Snap-on box new 15 years ago. Best purchase I ever made. :thumbup: BB drawers and a side box with slides. I worked for a local Benz. dealership as a line tech. I have plenty of room and can find most any tool I need without digging, as long as it's not a screw driver or plier...

Does any one have any sugestions on what to look for in a new hand piece for my beadblast cabinet? The cabinet is siphon feed. Who makes a quality replacement at a reasonable price with nozles and air jets that are easily replaced?

These are probably 20 years old nd have a snap ring inside,I can pullthem out wwith pliers and put any 1/8? hex bit in them.

rjspitz, is that denatured alcohol or rubbing alcohol you are usin in the mix for clay- barring?

I have these under my lateest project. didnt work for $h1t. I had to turn them over and grind the steel wheels down with the angle grinder to keed them from bottoming out on the bearing part of the caster. :willy_nil The car isnt even heavy, 1500# fully assembled and full of fluids and driver...

thanks for the info on that, been cosidering the exact same thing from harbor freight. I used to have one from Wurth many years ago, worked great for break clean(the old kill the ozone stuff, that should tell you how long ago) any ways worked well untill... someone stole it :sad:

Is the blue thing the one from harbor freight? Often thought about it when on sale for something like $29.95. What are the black and red things? Dryers?

I have the same as the SK but made by Craftsman. Has worked well for 15-20 years.Dont use them mutch. The bits are difficult to remove at times.

I've had a laminated top I bought from home depot about 20 years ago on top of my snap-on roll-around. It has held up great. I use it for light assembly work. I use a galvanised steel top bench or my OSB topped bench for projects that need more persuasion. Works well for me.YRMV

Try an incandescent bulb made for a garage opener. If that fails get a rough service bulb for an automotive droplight (also called a "trouble" light). The first one is available at Home Depot, the second is available at your nearest auto parts store..
