    Pocket multi tools

Leatherman Skeletool is my EDC. It's lightweight, relatively compact, but big enough to be useful. I had a Benchmade knife I carried, but lost it. I was sick after loosing a $200 knife...Now, I just keep the Skeletool on me, and if I loose it, it's not quite as painful...

Trying to stay in budget, what can I cut?

Looks like you could take a wizz right by the sidewalk pretty easily...lol My shop is 250' from the house and no neighbors so when nature calls, I step out back. My little boys would never make it in the city...lol My youngest jerked his pants down as soon as he got off the bus when he was in...

Mov'n to the country. What size shop should I build?

If you're backing in trailers regularly, go with 12' wide doors. I did that instead of 10' wide that I originally planned, and extremely happy I did.

How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

We have 16 acres, about 4 acres or so, that I mow/actively maintain. The rear of the property is backed up to a cliff with a river below. The front has a state highway and 300 acre farm across it. I can see a house and barn on the farm, but it's over 1/2 mile away and no one actually lives on...

Is this normal for new concrete driveway?

I had a concrete sidewalk poured in February this year that looks just like that. I'm in KY and the weather was probably in the 40*-50* range. I'm disappointed with the appearance, but there isn't much I can do about it now :(

Need input for garage door opener

I've got two CHI 12' x 11' doors in my shop opening with Liftmaster belt drive openers. They've been in the shop for about 3 years and have not had any issues.

Re-doing some Plumbing...pex or stick with Cu?

I used PEX and the PEX crimping tool from Lowes during a complete remodel of my home. It was easier and faster than crimping copper as a DIY project.

What is more versatile for a noob, a (hammer) drill or an impact driver?

I agree. My little Dewalt impact driver gets used for all kinds of jobs around the house. WAY more than my Bosch Bulldog.

Are fake Atlas Copco tools a thing?

We use a lot of Atlas Copco in our manufacturing plant. They're pretty spendy for a homeowner...What's the application?

    100SL Wireless Mini Floodlight

I received my 100SL and charger base a couple days ago. While technically, it's a fathers day present to myself, I had to try it out real quick before turning it over to my wife...lol I must say, for a compact light, it's extremely bright! The magnetic base stuck to the fridge very strongly...

    Need new grease gun.

I have all Dewalt battery tools, so that helped push me towards the Dewalt grease gun. It's been awesome, along with the LockNLube. It makes greasing my tractor MUCH quicker!

Big work push for Memorial day weekend-Water Lines.

I did the same to my shop for a wash sink and an outdoor faucet. It's worked fine and I have good water pressure. I hooked up my 2400 PSI pressure washer last night at the shop and ran it without an issue as well. I did put the 3/4" PEX inside 1.5" conduit to protect it from rocks on our...

    Craftsman 109.0702 Lathe worth saving?

Due to lack of time and space, I sold it to a tool maker at work for $150. He's excited to be able to restore it and use it for projects at home. I'm happy to see it go to a good home.

Windows with Mutins (Grids) or Not?

We went without when we installed new casements during a massive remodel/addition on our house. We're surrounded by farmland out the front and a river out the back so we wanted nothing blocking our views. The house originally had grids in the single hungs.

    Craftsman 109.0702 Lathe worth saving?

My father in law brought over an old Craftsman 109.0702 lathe he is planning to put in our yard sale. Is it worth trying to save this? I'm not a machinist, but was thinking it might be nice to do a few little projects at home if I ever needed too.

First time buying an Astro light as I've honestly never heard of them. The videos look promising so I'm excited. Sent you a PM with my name and order info. Thanks for doing this!
