We had a 1/2 bath and laundry room added to our home a couple years ago with a major remodel. I did all the wiring and put receptacles in each rooms closet for things like Roomba's and cordless hand vacs. We've loved having that, along with actual lights in the closets.

JBL makes some pretty decent speakers of various size that are battery powered and portable. I have one of their smaller models and it's pretty good for what it is. They make some much larger (boom box size) that are still portable and would sound pretty good for what they are.
