Great work Bull, That wood top looks great, but it does seem awfully nice to have a vice mounted on it and be beat on for several decades. If I had one that pretty I might cry every time it was scratched. It reminds me of Elroy's shiny ball peen hammers.

Looks good. how big is the 323 1/2? How long did it take you to blast it? I use a wire cup and it takes a couple of hours to thoroughly clean a 4.5 inch vise that way.

Absolutely!!!! I am a snob when it comes to power tools. I buy good ones and take care of them. I wouldn't say that I baby them, but I hate rust on anything and I particularly like to keep my power tools clean so that they can breath and turn freely. Power tools make life easier so what's not...
