What's a good price (and brand) for lady's foot pry bars

Just make sure you get one that has an industrial finish not chrome I have a napa chrome ladysfoot bar and the chrome is peeling very bad. I use it to punch holes in oil filters so I guess I should have known that would happen once I get tired of cutting myself im gonna go with some snapon bars.

Give a real life example of how a premium brand screwdriver worked better

I can't think of one specific example. For me its more of a constant everytime I use my instincts I rarely worry about stripping out things. Before I used to have a random assortment of screwdrivers and if I didn't strip out either the screw or the driver it self I couldn't get a good enough...

    Recommendations For A Extension Set

I currently have a hodgepodge of different extensions from harbor freight to snap on. I love the snap on extensions. But in all honesty I have a bunch of northern tool extensions that I keep grabbing time and time again. I bought a set of 3/8 cornwell extension last month out of the monthly...

Help me decide on a cart

I have a hf 5 draw cart and I can only fit my 8inch prybar in the slots on the side so that *****. The cornwell cart is much more expensive but it feels much more solid and smoother. Supposedly the cornwell 4 draw cart is also available from matco and napa.overall both are solid carts but one...

    Cornwell

If you live in the real world and use your tools daily and have a dealer stop by then cornwell is an awesome brand second only to snap on. If you buy tools to resell them then apparently all us cornwell users are foolishly buying tools that have no resale value because that's the most important...

How much money do you spend each week on tools?

$50 every 2 weeks to cornwell and snapon respectively. Occasionally the mac man gets some small cash purchases but ever so rarely.

What snap on ratchets to look for?

It all really comes down to need and preference. Look online and get familiar with the different types.every body prefers different types but if you get a standard and long handle flex in whatever size you need you should be good. I work on OTR trucks so I mainly use 1/2 but my ratchet list is...

    Best BFH for the Weak

+1 I've never actually weighed my hammer but my 40oz. Dead blow ball peen hammer just feels light but at the same time it has enough heft to shatter dreams.

Recomend a Dead-Blow, Ball Peen hammer

Supposedly trusty cook makes the ball peen for snap on and cornwell and maybe even mac and matco. If you get one from trusty cook then theoretically it will be the same thing as a snap on (but not really) I have 2 snap on deadblow ball peen hammers a 24 oz and a 40oz. If I could only have one I...

    Cornwell

That's exactly it. The service is huge. Sometimes I don't think the dealers realize that they aren't the only truck that comes in. If your dealer/pusher is cool then yea cornwell tools are bad ***. Their boxes look nice I want to buy a 800 series cart.

    Cornwell

My new shop has mac snap on and cornwell stop by on a weekly basis. Our dealer is hands down the best out of the 3. I buy a lot of snapon and recently more cornwell stuff. Most of the stuff that isn't made by snap on or cornwell. Like 3rd party or off brand stuff I buy from the cornwell truck...

    Impact vs Regular Socket

Do it you wont be the first nor will you be the last. I along with many of coworkers have used a chrome socket on an impact. I wont lie though the first time I did that I was holding the gun one handed like a ***** with my head turned away fully expecting the socket and gun to catastrophically...
