My snap on dealer has a 3 pack of ratchets (1/4,3/8,1/2). They 3 pack is long handle flexhead wth the soft grip handle. I use standard ratchets but im going to assume snapon makes a quality qr ratchet.

+1 just get some deep sockets if it ends up being a catastrophic failure get some shallows.

Both I use the deep more but you will need both. If this is a question as to which to get first get deep first. But I doubt you can only use one style

Flf80. Best 3/8 ratchet I've ever used. Don't let people mislead you about the price it is well worth it. If anything I should have bought the soft handle version.
