    Freebie

I found this old Blackhawk bottle jack behind a storage cabinet we moved at work today. My boss knows about my love of old things so he told me to take it home. I didn't find the handle for it (yet), but the one I got with my Uncle's old Sears bottle jack works fine. It still needs to be...

Low buck vintage propane torch kit

Picked this little cutie up for $5.00 at a car show today. I already have a Bernzomatic torch, but for $5.00 I just couldn't resist. It works perfect. The original MSRP on it from 1972 was $7.66...:dunno: Tommy

I commented to my boss that it was cool to see old tools still in use. He said they may be replacing them and...

99 cent pump oiler from Tractor Supply

Found this little guy at Tractor Supply yesterday. I wasn't looking for a pump oiler, but the shelf sticker had it marked as "$0.99" so I took it to the register. They told me it was supposed to be $12.99, but since it was displayed at that price they would have to give it to me for that price...

    Hints for refinishing vise jaws

I just got an older Littlestown #112 vise for cheap. It clamps straight, the swivel works well & the screw and handles are straight. I'm OK with doing the basic clean up, but I'm open for ideas on how to resurface the removable jaws pads. There's next to no teeth on them. Tommy

    New guy from NJ

Hello, all! I found your site through a link on Malibu Racing.com and decided I really needed to join. I don't have anywhere near as big or amazing of a garage as some of the ones I've seen here so far. It's only about 18' x 20', but it's a good size for one project car, a bench & some work...
