Well, I did lay about 250 blocks for the foundation. But it's not real pretty and that wat before my daughter was born. I could do it, but if would cost around $100.00 it would be well worth me not doing it. It would probably take me about 3 weekends to lay them all.

What is CMU? I've done that in a concrete block wall - 1/4 masonry bit drilled around the perimeter and try to get each hole as close to the next as possible. Then I just LIGHTLY tapped it with a hammer and it fell out... made a perfectly round hole that way for my drain.

What is the consensus of fibers with wire mesh, troweled smooth and a sealer applied? Does the "fuzz" have any effect on the sealer?

Yeah I've seen those - didn't know if they would work for the remesh too.
