I'll be making one using either an old diesel or a Lister. I need around 80 amps and it is very cost inefficent to purchase one. I just need the generator head and would prefer not to buy one of the import ST's off of ebay.

You just have to be patient and cross your fingers. I just picked up an eleven piece Snap On wrench set for half of retail including shipping. They are out there, just have to have a bit of luck.

Building a generator and need a GOOD head for it. Anyone know who makes a decent one that is also made in the USA? Would prefer that but am willing to settle for Japanese/German etc.

Casters is right. While I am doing my "frame off" restoration of my mustang I have the ******, rearend, and engine all on furniture dollies so i can move them about easily. This allows me to pack a large amount of things into the garage and wheel them out to get the space to work on the car again.

They take a couple of minutes to warm up and just get one with an electronic ballast, not magnetic, and there shouldn't be any humming.

I tried to do the email thing hoping to get the sale and it's still not even in stock a few weeks later. Also they won't take orders on out of stock items so you tend to be SOL getting the sale price.

Trick is finding a cheap projector. It makes a great ghetto home theater to have the friends over and just hang out.

Once you use a good stand the argument makes sense. Buy it and junk the HF one.

Basically I'm starting from scratch (again) and need a box, hand tools and air tools. I'm working on a fairly decent budget for now but those 20 dollars off sure do add up fast. So ya new toolset for a weekend warrior and I would rather buy once and cry once.

Wondering where is the best place to buy tools online or the one you guys would recommend? Also I'm willing to wait and get things on sale if it's worth it.
