    Curved adj wrench

I think those were commonly used on locomotives up to the 40s and 50s. I have always thought they were cool and have been keeping my eye out for onein the wild. Good find

    Pozidrive in the US

Industrial Electrical equipment uses alot of pozidrive. Allen Bradley, ABB drives, etc. Very few veteran electricians know what pozidrive is. Most screws have a slot for a flatblade as well, so that what gets used.

Thoughts on Craftsman coming to Lowes

From another viewpoint, every tool for sale in Canada is “Harbour Freight” quality, unless its from a tool truck or online. Hit and miss at best. Husky handtools are far lower quality than princess auto (which is our harbour freight ). Canadian tire mastercraft used to be highly respected but...

    What are your favorite screwdrivers?

I used kliens daily for a decade professionally. One day I thought, boy these shred your palm and are uncomfortable. I ended up with weras and never looked back. I used to wear out a klien flatblade in a year and a half, also the grips would stretch and then can be slid off. So far I am almost...

1/4 Ratchet - Williams M52 or Proto XL?

Another vote for the 1/4” sk. Its just awesome, and with a 1/4” hex adaptor its incredible as a bit driver as well.

GRINDER SAFETY 101 (graphic injury video so be warned)

Great thread. I used grinders for years knowing nothing about the dangers, 7 years ago I got a job that made us periodically watch safety videos, and my eyes were open. I got appropriate ppe for home right away. Some great positive discussions here!

Ebay scumbags listing Neiko import **** as WRIGHT Tools

Well i dont know 100% I admit. Perhaps he lost his glasses and some smudges on the wrenches looked like the word wright, but its a pretty good chance he put it there as a clickbait title. I have not sold anything on ebay, nor bought anything off it because of this kind of ****. I would love to...

Ebay scumbags listing Neiko import **** as WRIGHT Tools

Why is anyone sticking up for this jerk? He is knowingly being deceptive. In any kindergarden class you will learn that is wrong. When you are wrong you deserve consequences or correction. Case closed.

Build Work Bench vs Buying one?

I recommend this as well. I was in an identical boat to you. i built up a very good set of tools from flea markets, pawnshops, and garage sales. I recommend to find a mentor, as i had to learn everything the hard way, usually involving pain and scars. Not applicable as much if you are...
