    Air Lines

Alrighty then, somebody come up with some cost factors. I'm just about ready to install close to 600' of something. Right now, after learning a lot from this forum I'm thinking copper. I have no problem with the required 'sweating', in fact since it will most likely be exposed for a long time, I...

    Air Compressor Plumbing Questions

Me too. I always put in an upside down 'U' for each drop. I'm suprised Sharpe doesn't include that. At the bottom of each drop I also put a horizontal 'T' in and get my air from the bottom of the 'T'. In other workds turn the 'T' sideways with the top of the feed soldered to the main feed...

    Rotisserie anyone?

The only trick that I can tell you on the engineering side is to make sure that the front and rear attachements are parallel to each other when they are bolted to the car. If not the car will want to 'oscillate', for lack of a better description. They are or should be listed in the 'must have'...

avsfan. Wouldn't it be nice just to be able to pay the electic bill every month for that? And not think twice about it! Wish you were here, I'd have you check my 'main' on my shop. The garage is unattached, garage main is buried, runs about 20' to the house. Comes up to the disconnect on the...

01812, Your not going to let me miss a thing! The boiler temperature is set at 170, just until it brings the water temperature up over the entire floor. Once the floor balances out, then I am to reset the target boiler temperature to 130! Let me take aim on the in/out temepratures...

    Radient floor heat

01812, Damnnn your good! That is the terminology my plumber used! Backflow preventer AND a Watts 9D valve. I just took some pictures. I'll see if I can't get them to load up. One is the face of the boiler, the "3/160" indicates that (3) is in high firing mode, the 160 indicates the boiler temp...

    Radient floor heat

Capo, My system was just installed and yes it needs additional water over time. Mine is hooked up to our main water supply with a one-way valve. Meaning it will not letter the floor water feed back to the main. (A really good thing when you have to use anti=freeze in the boiler. It also has a...

    compressor "walking"

Just a ' for what it's worth' tip' ... If you are going to secure a compressor it's recommended NOT to bolt it directly to the floor. The vibrations can; 1, crack your floor, or 2, crack the legs of the compressor. I really like the donut tip! Think I'll grap a bag of donuts at the Peterbuilt...
