I would not recommend it, we had 3 rigged to lift a truss and a few hundred pounds of equipment one wire snapped which then caused the other 2 to fail. Get a legit chain motor.

Might want to try and get a little gyro stabilized gimbal and mount that on the helicopter. I've done gopros on helicopters quite a few times. My best success was to use a sticky mount on the nose and use the little white bushing thing gopro supplies. That or do time lapse.

Cheap alternative to pelican is seahorse cases, very similar. But I have to say pelican is the best choice. Calzone are great till they get dropped or stabbed with a forklift.
