    "The Tool Warehouse" in N.J.

I like the tool warehouse ... I shop them first when I'm buying tools ... but like others are saying they don't always have what you order in stock ... customer service seems to be slow when you have a problem ... but they always take care of the matter ... just not as fast as they take your...

Is Craftsman the Rodney Dangerfield of Tools?

I think you guy's place too much expectation on what you ought to get when you buy Craftsman tools. It's been my experience that you usually get what you paid for and more when you buy Craftsman tools. For example before Christmas Sears was selling the 12 piece raised pannel set for $19.99...

    Wrenches, what do I need?

if I were to advise someone just starting out I would say to get Combo wrenches first ... then full socket sets ... then offset box ends ... then stubbies ... then flare nut wrenches ... the racheting box ends come after you have the basic wrench sets ... then buy whatever you feel like will...

This strike me as a good deal..

I have some old Snap On sockets like that. They belonged to my grandfather so I don't know how old they are. I'm 54 and he died when I was 14. The finish looks like the sockets on ebay. I have some Craftsman sockets that also belonged to him. The finish on the Craftsman is far better than the...

Maybe its time for some REAL screwdrivers?

I like trying different brands. I found the Elora site here one time and tried their red handled screwdriver out. I found them to be high quality and unique in handle shape. I prefer hard handle screwdrivers and these fit the bill for me. You can see them here...

    used tools on craigslist

It apears to me that the husband is gone. Sometimes it comes down to just wanting to be gone and you leave everything behind just to get away. She seems like the kind of woman that it would be worth leaving everything behind just to get away from her!

Looking for a good alternative to Craftsman tools

There are several good tool stores on the internet. Most ship pretty quick. Do a search for tool stores and check them out. I live in a small town and have bought from several dealers on the internet. All but one have worked out well for me. SK tools are of pretty good quality and in a similar...

    Grabit damaged screw remover bits

I've got the Craftsman brand of the same thing. Sears sells several sets called screw out and deck screw out or something. All they amount to is a drill head on one end and an ease out on the other in different sizes. If you have to get a screw out of something with a striped head they will...

    Tool Warehouse

They have very competive pricing and free shipping on orders over $99. When you factor the free shipping in they sometimes beat the best price you can find when you combine the shipping charges. I don't work for them and I havn't bought anything from them in a few months but only because I...
